RecommendedI have been going to this Sports Clips for years and refuse to take my son anywhere else! His first haircut was even here! I actually get upset if my fiancé goes anywhere else. I have had multiple different stylists cut my son’s hair and they all do a great job! They are all very personable with children and do a fantastic job! My husband and I take our 3 year old twin boys here and we love it. Every time we go in they are super patient with the boys even when they can be a little antsy.
Was in there last week and was shocked at the lack of professionalism by the young girls that work there. Seems to be ran by high school children with no class. One of them began yelling at a customer after something happened and the customer was unhappy about the cut they received. It turned into a scene from one of those reality shows. Screaming and yelling the stylist trying to fight the customer. Last time I will be there with my son!! BEWARE *******

If I could give 0 stars I would!! First of all the stylist didn’t even introduce herself. Didn’t care to ask how I wanted my hair styled, basically refused to have any sort of conversation, and to top it off only trimmed around 1 ear!!! If you hate your job find a new profession!!!! I will never go back to this location!!!
I went to Sport Clips in McHenry for the first time today. I have to say it was the absolute best experience. Ashleigh was my hair stylist and she was absolutely amazing. I said to her you know what you are doing make it work for me and I let her do her thing and I am more than happy with the results. I would recommend anyone I know to go to that Sport Clips and ask for Ashleigh. I won't be going anywhere else now!!!
Never had an issue until with sports clips in Mchenry until I brought my son to Ashley. She cut my son’s neck twice and when I said something to her she blamed the cut on him shrugging his shoulders. Ashley continued to cut his shoulders even after the shrug and after my son told her it was hurting. She insisted it shouldn’t hurt. I called afterwards to tell her about his neck and she was unapologetic and continued to blame my son. She was cold and rude to my son and myself and should be avoided at this establishment.
