Our lab, radiology and respiratory staff is amazing at what they do as well! About 10 months ago i was extremely sick and no one could figure out what was wrong with me. I went in to the ER and they ran several tests they weren't 100% sure on what was making me sick. They sent me to see a surgeon. I found out my gullbladder was full of gull stones and they were blocking my liver ducts. When i went in i had no hope but if it wasn't for them i wouldn't of made it another two weeks. Thank you!
Not just because I work there, Great Bend Regional Hospital has caring physician and nurse staff. I had brought my daughter here about 3 years ago after I took her to the other place in Great Bend and them telling me that they thought their machine was messed up because her oxygen level was not at a good percent....the staff in the ER here at GBRH asked questions, did more tests, etc and come to find out, she had double pneumonia. This must be a front for something illegal because if it is a hospital it's the sorriest excuse for a hospital I've ever seen and I've worked at many during my youth when undertaking EMS training in California. My mother was admitted Monday supposedly unresponsive, yet when I arrived she undoubtedly responded to my voice and my touch as if she was crying out for me to help her, but I was thrown out by the head nurse because my brother had cued her to do that if I questioned her being drugged instead of treated! This is not a patient care hospital, it's a profit hospital. Terrible care by an arrogant Doctor and rude nurses who just wanted us out of the ER. Thanks for nothing.
this is the worst place on the planet to seek medical attention. if you are at all capable, go ANYWHERE ELSE. seek medical attention from a wild animal or a rock, even before you attempt to at this facility.
I have never ever wanna punch someone in the face so much that just to tell me that I would be good and let it work it self and it will be better in a couple days and put ice on it and it will be better.. We sat in the waiting room for my step dad to have knee surgery. NO one came out not even the doctor to tell us he was done, how it went, he was in recovery, what room he would be in etc.... we finally asked someone and they checked it out to tell us he was in his room some 30 minutes ago. Lack of communication I would surely say
