This is the most trusty and safest auto repair center. My family has taken their car here for years. The owner is open and honest and the staff are highly trained and quick workers. They have worked on a variety of style of cars from Suburbans to old mustangs. They are able to get parts at lower prices and show you the replaced items with pleasure. If you want your car to last and you need mechanics come here.

5 Stars for me My son has been coming here for years. When I had a problem with my vehicle I decided to try them. What a great experience. Not only did they do a great job, but they were friendly, quick and very reasonably priced. Would recommend them to family and friends. GREAT BEAR...KEEP UP THE "GREAT" WORK!!

Great Fixers This is the perfect place to come if you don't mind the relaxed atmosphere of a mom and pop auto shop. My parents have been taking thier cars here for years and the service here is superb. The staff is always friendly and they take time to explain exactly what is going on with your vehicle and what is most important to work on. They don't scam and they give you the old parts so you know that the new ones were replaced. If they have time they'll open up the car and let you know what they've done. Great Bear is Great We've been using the staff of Great Bear for years even when they were at their previous location. Always found them to be honest and reliable. Never have to worry that they'll recommend work that doesn't need to be done.

I like this place I have an old car so when I need fixing I need to make sure whoever fixes it will make it last for a good while. This place has the most trustworthy mechanics around. They give me fair quote and great prices. The staff is friendly and they take time to explain what's going on. A nice experience.

Do not go to this Mechanic. Warranty Issues. RUDE!!!!!!! This Gentleman..cough cough... is the rudest mechanic in Huntington Beach. I went out to get some basic work done and all I recieved from him was a negative demeanor. He was more entertained to fix the Land Rover that had showed up after I, than to answer a basic question of availability to make an Oil Change. GREAT I have been coming here for years. It's just up the street from my house so it's extra convenient. Best of the all the service is outstanding and the care and treatment they provide for your car will amaze you. They are available for phone consults on small matters and they will give you an honest appraisal and time line. Everytime I've taken my car in I've been more than pleased with the outcome. GREAT place to bring your car for a fix.

Great Place A friend recommended this place to me. My first impression of them was on the phone, the guy was friendly and laid back. From there I brought my Audi to them to check out my brakes. They were extremely friendly, timely and honest in their assessment. Great Bear Auto also charges less for oil changes than other places I've been (the standard chain places). I will definitely take my car back there for all repairs and maintenance and highly recommend Great Bear Auto.

Rude and Unprofessional I didn't even get a chance to have work done here because they were so rude on the phone. I was treated like I didn't know anything and attacked because I was shopping around. Not recommended.
