RecommendedI brought my girls (ages 3.5, almost 2) to The Great American Health Bar around lunchtime (after Trolls The Experience), and a) the food was solid, b) the service was first-rate, c) the ambiance was casual with the right level of clamor that irritable kids won't make a spectacle. My babies were cranky, hungry... and I was trying to keep them quiet while I ordered. The waiter asked if he could bring them a few fries while we waited, and he did (a complimentary small order). Placed an order on Seamless, and it never came. 30 minutes after ETA I called up to find out they cancelled my order because "I was outside the delivery area (well why did the order go through on Seamless then?) and I only tipped $1." Disgusting that they didn't even call me to say there was an issue.
Service was great! Food was even better! Loved having a kosher place to eat so centrally located.
This place is amazing ! Been going over 15 years ! Anytime I am up that way in the city - it's a MUST ! I want them to open In Hoboken!!!!
The fish is very yummy and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.
