Had my oil and filter changed at Grease Monkey. 10 days later the car started spewing oil everywhere. I had it towed to a reputable mechanic who said whoever serviced the car last had put the oil filter on without the O ring. I contacted Grease Monkey HQ and they ignored me. Then I called and the General Manager called me back and wanted to quote me Grease Monkey policy. In other words; you're screwed! And I was too. Rip-off Pros – They installed my oil filter without the O ring. Several days later oil started spewing everywhere and I had to have the car towed and the oil and filter job redone. $200 repair. When I called to report the problem they just wanted to read the back of the receipt to me. It was all about policy. I told them I had the receipt where they changed the oil and the receipt where it had to be redone and that the mechanic who fixed it told me they left off the O ring. great customer service – They are honest. All of the employees were extremely friendly, they even put a flower on dashboard for my wife. Also enjoyed a fresh baked cookie in the waiting area.
