We had a wonderful time. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We walked all around to see all of the vendors and farm exhibits. We enjoyed some traditional fair food and we especially enjoyed the elephant ears served on cardboard disks. They were not overcooked like so many of them are. They were absolutely delicious. It was our first time at this fair and we will be back.
The rides were very substandard this year at the fair. If the GH fair wants to charge such outlandish prices on things the rides should be much better. The haunted house was especially disappointing. The fairgrounds was very clean and the other exhibits were splendid. The animals and canning and so forth were very pleasant to view. I also think the smoking needs to be regulated. A smoking section would be nice so we don't have to wait in line with our children and nine smokers right there.
