First off the women working at Gratitude was the most welcoming human ever. There were two people ahead of me and one person behind me and I think she greeted all of them by name omg. I asked out loud for recommendations for a first timer and the other customers steered me towards the coffee cake and the apple galette. Apple galette is quite nice. The sweetest little vegan-friendly bakery with the kindest owner! The owner actually asked if I was vegan when I asked what she had on the menu for vegans, and when I said yes, she was incredibly kind and thoughtful about it. She even told me that if I ever craved something specific, I could email her and she’d try to add it to the weekly menu—how amazing is that?
