I have a grade 3 AC separation, which i understand does not usually require surgery, wanted to get his opinion and information.. Definitely got an opinion, that's about it. Really terrible experience. Very argumentative as opposed to informative. Very immature attitude as if all of this is a waste of time. The way he reacted to adverse information and opinion was insecure and childish, as if he felt attacked by me wanting the best possible result. Definitely do not recommend this doctor no matter his competence with surgery.

First thing he said to me was I'm not treating you. Told me my shoulder pain was not due to the two tears, but that I had a pinched nerve in my neck. Told me he could give me a cortisone shot, and when it didn't work it would prove he was right. He never let me talk, and made me feel terrible. I left and endured another two months of pain waiting for the MRI of my neck to come back. NO pinched nerve in my neck. I'm going to a different surgeon, one who hopefully will help relieve this pain.

Im over 50 and always think of surgery as a last resort. Dr. Bowman performed my rotator cuff repair and at 1 month out I cannot see how things could have went any better. Very pleased with everything and everyone involved in this experience. I could not even offer anything to improve on. Awesome. Will post again as this journey moves on.

I saw this clown sometime back. I kept telling him that there was something wrong with my shoulder. After two or three visits he determined that all that was wrong with me was "a little arthritis" made me feel like this pain that I have been suffering was all in my head! Well after several more years of agony I have been diagnosed with a separated shoulder that has now healed in place! Told that not sure if it can be fixed now!
