Went here last evening and the meal was terrible I had to send it back the when I asked the waitress if the Shrimp was frozen she was like no it is not I nicely said I'm pretty sure it is because it taste like rubber. The main dish was horrible 'Cajun Pasta' the pasta was overcooked along with the andouille sausage was nasty. Best part it was cold so yes I had to send it back. The best part of the meal was the beer 'and the service except the cost of a Pint 6 dollars seems way overpriced for a local beer.
First time I've not been pleased with GC's food. Prime rib (French Dip) looked unappetizing (like it was boiled), gray and mushy. Also was served one of my pet peeves; COLD FRIES! Our waitress was less than attentive. Hostess, while walking through the restaurant, kept "finger combing" her long hair; gross. May be awhile before we try again. Too bad as GC was one our favorites.
My husband I are from Clinton and stopped in tonight for an early dinner. Our waitress was Alexandra. She was awesome and our dinner was even better. She recommended the blackened tilapia and my husband got the ribs. Our food was delicious one if the best meals we have had in months eating out. We just wanted to thank you and let you know we can't wait to return!!
