At first it was very difficult to get in touch with my Cardiologist Dr. Brown. It was very frustrating to me changing from the heart center. I would have to go thru several operators to get to his answering service and still not get to speak to a person. I think it Is improving. I was impressed that Spencer called me to set up my video telephone conference with Dr. Brown and it went well. Dr Jacquline ( first name) is so easy to talk to about your issues. Very concerned and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable with her.
I had the absolute worst experience with the doctor I saw on Thursday. Dr. Juan Martinez-Ross was extremely rude. I went in to establish care. He was trying to have me do all this blood work for diabetes when I don’t have a family history of it and I have never had any episodes that I would need to get tested for diabetes. I asked him why and that’s when he said due to family history and people my age of 40.
