My recent stay at the AmericInn by Wyndham Peoria was extremely disappointing and fell far below the standards I expect as a first-time customer and frequent traveler. The issues began at check-in, when a $0.37 price discrepancy between Booking.com and the hotel’s system prevented me from checking in. Room was comfortable but in a bit of disrepair. Smoke detector was hanging loose off the wall, bathroom tiles loose, one bathroom shelf partially pulled off wall. Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Breakfast was simple. Staff friendly. Workout room adequate.

The hotel was clean and the staff were all very nice. My room was spacious and clean and my bed was SO comfortable! Breakfast was good, lots of options. Thank you!

I stayed in Room 128 on 12/20/25. The room was very cramped, NOT at all like the large room that was shown in their ads. Worse, the room had not table or chair, not even a single chair! I brought a laptop to do some work on this business trip, but there were not table to do it on or a chair to sit it. The WiFi was unsecured (thus unsafe to use). The hotel staff gave me that crappy room even though there where plenty of other rooms in the hotel available that night. Why? They could have given me a much better room.

The rooms were basic, the tv guide and channels were difficult to navigate. The rooms could use some maintenance attention as far as broken knobs and cleanliness on vent fans and showers. The darkness and comfortabilty of the beds was nice. The pool area needs to be more ventilated and clean.
