My husband and I stayed here for a pass-by on our way to our destination. The hotel staff, specifically Andy, was so accommodating and kind. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel sits back and was quiet and safe. The area offered good food options, we had some great Mediterranean food at Jerusalem Restaurant.
BED BUGS!!! Price gouging!!! I stayed at this god awful hotel last weekend because my son had a baseball tournament in Peoria. His team reserved a block of rooms in February. We were Told it had a pool, all of the sudden the pool was down over the baseball weekend (convenient). I was charged $470.00 for two night at the most pathetic hotel I’ve stayed at in years! The 1st room the air conditioner did t work and the 2nd room had no shampoo but thankfully I had my own but there was no hair dryer. No Bible in the drawer. And basic cable with not much to watch. The hallway was very warm and humid. Beds were pretty comfortable but thankfully I was only there 1 night.
I had possibly the worst experience with any hotel that I've ever experienced & will never recommend or take a room at any AmericInn again. I made my reservation 3 months in advance for a King suite with a pullout bed for my son. When we arrived, the room wasn't ready. Not a big deal. Then was told that they don't have pullout beds. My son will have to sleep on the couch for his 16th birthday? My wife and I definitely can't. We were told we could be "upgraded" to a standard double queen room! Stayed here due to being within walking distance of the Mount Hawley airport (3MY). The room was clean, beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was great! Would definitely stay again if in the area.
