I had possibly the worst experience with any hotel that I've ever experienced & will never recommend or take a room at any AmericInn again. I made my reservation 3 months in advance for a King suite with a pullout bed for my son. When we arrived, the room wasn't ready. Not a big deal. Then was told that they don't have pullout beds. My son will have to sleep on the couch for his 16th birthday? My wife and I definitely can't. We were told we could be "upgraded" to a standard double queen room! Pool was down, but we didn't care and had no plans to use it. The room was a vast improvement over the last hotel we had been staying at, and was clean. Breakfast was simple and good, the staff was helpful and chill. Only complaint was that the shower was cold, like room temperature at most.
The manager was very helpful after there was a mix up with my room. I appreciated her dedication to make sure I had the disability room I needed for my family. I gave four stars for service as the 3 night stay no one came in to the change out the garbage or towels. Had to go ask for towels.
Room was comfortable but in a bit of disrepair. Smoke detector was hanging loose off the wall, bathroom tiles loose, one bathroom shelf partially pulled off wall. Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Breakfast was simple. Staff friendly. Workout room adequate.
The location was very good for us. Our room had plenty of room to move around. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and 4 hours every day. The best 4 nights of our 9 day trip.
