Our first time dining at Grande Mere Inn although my husband and I have been coming to this area for over 40 years. We enjoyed an excellent meal with dear friends and had a great view of the sunset. Our server was the best! (I think her name is Kathy).
Great place. Fine dining but a casual vibe! Time it right and you get a beautiful view of a Michigan sunset from the main dining rooms!
Made reservations 2 weeks in advance for our 38th anniversary. They gave our table away. Went to Lake House had a wonderful view and diner. When times are slow in the off season Grande Mere you won't see us.

Thank you for your review, though we find that there are a few facts that were left out. We tell every customer who calls that we never guarantee a window table when making a reservation, but we always try our best. Your reservation was made at 7:30 and your arrival was close to 8, which at that time we had seated all of our 7:30 reservations that also requested window tables. We were there last night for date night. Our food was delicious! Our waitress was very attentive. My go to place for years. Love this restaurant!
