TLDR - expensive upsells and scare tactics My HVAC system stopped cooling on a Friday evening. I called Grande Air because they were recommended by ChatGPT. The technician came in and recommended a capacitor and contactor change, but he charged me $1200 for it. According to multiple Internet searches this shouldn’t cost more than 500$-600$. On top of this he tried to upsell me some other things including a soft start kit worth 1900$ because otherwise “I’m just counting my days until the compressor blows out”. Technician Mark Walding was extraordinarily professional and helpful. He explained things to me in layman terms and explained it again to my husband when I called him. I definitely will use their services again for routine maintenance and repair.

Technician Mark went above and beyond to not only service my HVAC, but to identify major HVAC problems in the inside unit, which I can now submit to my warranty company. I will continue to use Grande Air Solutions!
