Grandale Restaurant, located on a historic operating farm and vineyard outside of Hillsboro, VA, has been a Loudoun County favorite since it opened in 2005. In 2012 we joined with 868 Estate Vineyards and now have a beautiful tasting room and offer a full vineyard and culinary experience. When you step into the restaurant, you will embark on a culinary Farm to Table journey as Chef Author Clark Jr. honors the local bounty of our area in his fresh interpretation of American haute cuisine.

Went last night after an afternoon out with another couple. It's got a lovely decor, which complements the winery it shares the name and property with. The wine is delicious, but if that's not your thing they also have a terrific beer selection. Dress is casual which is a nice change if you weren't out in a jacket and tie, but the food doesn't reflect that. Great presentation of food - everything tasted just as great as it looked!
Whenever my husband and I came to a place where food was fantastic, I had to let the public know. First time we dined in at Grandale, we loved the place, had a tasty appetizer, entrée & dessert. Altezza red wine with cherry duck was just super good and perfect paired. My husband had a halibut paired with Sauvignon <-(we purchased two of those to go). The fire place and all over scenery is very welcoming. This place made it in to our fave-list-to-go-back-to (12/26/2015)
The prawn carbonara was truly amazing. Christina walks on water, is beautiful, intelligent, and a wonderful server.
We've been to Grandale quite a few times and this time we brought some friends with us. The food and service were fabulous. We will definitely be back again.
The service was exceptional! Loved being able to sit by the fire and enjoy the company of friends over a spectacular meal. The Monarch wine was the perfect pairing with the duck, lamb, and filet. Thank you!
Sam was fantastic. My wife did the pre fixe menu and I order ala carte. The dinner service was timed perfectly. Great food, great wine, beautiful setting, and lovely people we couldn't be happier.
We were seated right away when we arrived with a large group even though we did not have a reservation. Beautiful setting. Lovely view. Such a gorgeous place!
This restaurant is a favorite of mine. Always delicious food, excellent customer service and reasonable prices.
