Very happy!!!! This was hands down the best vision exam I've ever had. Dr. Fu was so nice, and she was really thorough - she took her time to explain everything to me, and answered all of my questions and concerns. My other doctor never checked my eye health, but Dr. Fu did, and told me why it's so important (My mother and sister have glaucoma). I had the retinol pictures taken of my eye, and the staff member helping me (Stephanie?) even offered to email them to me. I just got my new glasses back last week, and I love them. ... read more
Good Optometrist I was shopping in Grand Plaza and stumbled on this optometrist. What a great frame selection! The doctor was great and like the other reviews said she goes into lots of detail and explains everything. Not your quicky costco or Lenscrafter exam. I got my new glasses and am very happy with them. I would recommend Grand Vision to anyone looking for a good eye exam in North County.
great glasses and doctor I've worn bifocals for the last 10 years. I had a really bad attempt at wearing the no line bifocals in the past, so I was strongly set against them this time around for my new eye exam. Dr. Fu was really... Good Eye Exam Very happy with my experience at Grand Vision. Dr. Fu was very competent. Answered all my questions unlike my last doctor. I will bring my daughters to see her from now on.
Grand Vision Optometry is Slow and I am still not satisfied I will never go back. The first pair of glasses I got were not comfortable so I switched to a less expensive frame. They talked me into an anti-reflective lens which was terrible. They were scratched within a week. Took them back for regular lenses, waited a week and picked them up. One of those lenses had scratches in it. So I am out another week waiting for a replacement lens. I have never had so much trouble in my life. I should have gone to lenscrafters.

Finally found the right doctor I used to see a different doctor once a year for my regular eye exams. For years, my eye sight was getting worse, and he told me it was just old age. Finally, last time I saw him, my vision was so bad that he referred me to a specialist. The specialist ran a bunch of tests, including an MRI, and he referred me to yet another specialist. Finally a great eye doctor in San Marcos! I've been trying to find a good optometrist for years. Finally stumbled into Grand Plaza in San Marcos while shopping and found Grand Vision - so glad I did. Dr. Fu is extremely patient. Spent a long time explaining to me every detail and things I should watch out for, unlike the 5 minute "drive through" exam I had at Lenscrafters last year. nice selection I stopped into "Grand Vision Optometry" when I went to Nordstrom Rack about 1-2 weeks ago. They had a lot of glasses to choose from, and I ended up getting a really nice pair of sunglasses that they were able to put my prescription in. The people there were really nice, and when I stopped in today to pick them up, everything was perfect!
