Moved my mom into Grand Villa and stayed a week with her. Loved it. Food is awesome, dog park is just outside her door. Secure, safe and where I want to go when I need a retirement home.
Mom has been at Grand Villa assisted living for a several months and is very happy there. Mom has her challenges including being legally blind and has memory loss. I have found that the staff goes above and beyond the call to take care of her and the residents in general. I highly recommend this place. I think it is important that I mention how helpful Lori Clark has been. She is now the director and in charge of Grand Villa. We placed our 90 year old mother in various facilities in both Lee and Charlotte counties with little success. She would stay days, weeks and at the most a couple months in any place we found her. She has been in Grand Villa for almost 2 years now. Grand Villa has friendly staff, friendly residents and a nice clean beachy feel. The last facility she was in was so depressing but Grand Villa is bright and cheerful. Our family loves Grand Villa. The value for the price, compared to other facilities, is incredible.
I would suggest you come and visit us at Grand Villa and see for yourself what we have to offer. You will meet staff who know their residents, you will see and experience a variety of activities, events and entertainment, several options at meal time and so much more.
Doesn't look like home nor feel like family, my grandmothers room is full of mold, we have since left this community but I had to share these to protect someone else from coming into this situation that we had, we are very disappointed in the way the whole situation was handled and the staff turn around makes me cringe, this is the 5th executive director at this location with in 2 YEARS, that shows a lot in itself, every time it Rains at this community the rooms flood, and they resort to extracting the water, obviously they ... read more
After my mom fell for the 3rd time in less than 2 months I asked what was going on, the nurse said he had been trying to get her in the building with more care for months, no one ever mentioned that to me. Nurse and staff also said they are to check on residents every couple hours but that it ever happens. She is now in rehab broken eye socket and pelvis and that was this last fall.
