The care was ok. My insurance did not pay all of the bill so we set up an automatic payment plan. A couple of months into the payment plan I get a notice from a debt collection agency saying that I owe the balance or Grand View will be reporting it to my credit. I don't understand why they were not satisfied that they were getting paid.

Cruel people. ER incompetent ICU = Rough - Man handled. Attacked by staff. Abused by Male Night Aide. Isolated.. File over 12 complaints and did not hear back from any department heads. Gave wife wrong meds.

Why would Grand View recommend Pennsburg Manor - they strip search incoming patients - would Doug Hughes like it if his teen age daughter was strip searched ? Would he like his daughter put on drugs without his knowledge. What is wrong with Grand View

4/13/2022 waited 4.5 hours and never got helped. Triage got a call from my Doctor about several severe problems including low oxygen count. Should have been placed immediately. Completely ignored while people were helped with children's sniffles and minor scrapes and scratches. Asked an attending physician at 1130pm and was told we might have 3 or 4 more hours to go. Very sad.

One star is even too good for Grand View Hospital. My husband was admitted with bleeding. The communications between the staff and patient's family is appalling. I had to threaten with getting a lawyer involved, just to get information on my husband. I tried questioned his social worker and rehab tech about his mobility and rehab after being in bed a week and having several blood transfusions and why was the hospital trying to discharge him too soon, when he wasn't even cleared for discharge by his cardiologist? Very frustrating billing department! Convoluted/misleading wording, redundant billing! I received 2 bills 1 day apart and the 1 includes a portion of the other bill, but I can only guess that because no invoice # for the 1 portion. No online payment system. Incredibly frustrating since it's for my husband's cpap so we deal with this on a monthly basis. It's like they are stuck in the 90s! Stop billing twice for the same invoice!

I can only give Grand View Hospital 5 stars and wish there were more to give. The staff there, receptionists, nurses, anesthesiologists, are totally awesome. They are so friendly, professional, caring and helpful. All you have to do is ask them a question and they will address any concerns that you have and keep you in the loop for what they are doing every step of the way while preparing you for surgery.. I switched from Rothman to Grandview for an on going knee issue and I am so happy I did! Dr. Zeises is awesome and understands that surgery is something I really do not want to do (yet.) She listens, validates my concerns and truly helps me physically as well as emotionally. The office staff and X-ray techs are awesome as well. I highly recommend going here. (And the new building on Rt 309 in Colmar is beautiful too!)

Had to come to er due to broken ankle. spent 2 weeks here including PT floor. The Drs, nurses and physical and occupational therapists were awesome. Always there for you, very professional and caring. Would recommend this hospital to anyone
