I applaud the dedication and hard work of the employees that provide us with great service during bad weather and emergencies and even on a daily basis but I guess when you are a monopoly what you get is what you get. I contacted management about an eye sore of a meter on a 4 x 8 piece of plywood 6 feet off the ground and was told they would be happy to get me a "quote" to have it put on a pedestal. Power outages are very minimal and when they do happen their on it! GVP is a great service provider bar none!
I've had GVP for a very long time and they have always been professional and easy to deal with, never any complaints. Nobody likes paying a big bill, but the electricity is always there, and that can't be an easy thing to provide around here. From the billing office to routine maintenance GVP has always treated me well.
I call my reading in each month and everyone is very pleasant.
