I am a fairly regular donor at Grand Valley and the people there are always nice and professional. The only time I have had to wait is when they are super busy...and that is understandable considering you cannot rush a blood donation. I will be returning to give more blood with my friends at Grand Valley Blood.
I decided to give blood last night because of the critical shortages the banks experience during the Christmas season. Despite having an appointment, it took 49 minutes to start donating. Screening occurred quickly, but when I was done with screening, an employee (Matt) said "take a seat, it is going to be a while". Noting like "I'm really sorry, we are running behind so thank you for your patience" or anything that someone with customer service skills would have done.
