Excellent Hotel in a totally amazing building of historic importance a true Monument. Excellent customer service. The location is the best I've ever seen. On a Friday and Saturday night there are at least 2,000 people within a 3 block area all night long. A lot of fun here
All I can say is WOW. had a very usettling experience here and upon confronting management about it, the owner of the hotel was completely dismissive. The only thing he was concerned with was the fact that my room was definitely not getting refunded even though hotel staff had not only used my room while i wasn't there, BUT ALSO broke into my room with a universal key while I was sleeping at 4 o' clock in the morning. I did not feel safe here. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to stay here.
I was considering staying here, but I heard from close acquaintances that staff has a bad habit of barging in with universal keys at ridiculously early hours to "clean the room". Not only that, but when confronted with the incident not only were they lied to about their intrusion, but they were blamed because they consumed alcohol. Someone needs to call Gordon Ramsey and have this owner exposed on an episode of Hotel Hell. I'll never stay here and will sway anyone away from making such a poor choice.
Last night, myself and two other young women stayed in a room at the Grand Royale Hotel in Binghamton, NY. We were attending an event held in the hotel and decided to be safe and stay the night. Listen to this: while WE WERE ASLEEP IN OUR BEDS, a man used a key card to enter our room. I woke up immediately and watched him walk into the room. He was all the way in the room, with clear view of my two indecent friends sleeping in the far bed, and once he saw me sit up, he said "oh shit" and backed out of the room. I slept less ... read more
