RecommendedReopened as Great Rock Branson under new management. Rooms remodeled and free wi-fi. Linda and Jen at check are very accommodating and responsive.
Huge financial problems; repossession by Greenlake Financial; now concern of special assessments to get property into a usable condition.
Have been owners since the beginning. No customer service, horrible experiences. Would love to find a way to get rid of this time share.
Grand Regency is not so grand anymore. We started in the beginning and was great. Now is bank has foreclosed and no repairs are being done. Door knobs and locks are missing. You can walk right in and some have damage. TVs are in a pile in the parking lot. There is nobody to complain to that can do anything. I hate to say but I think all the owners have lost all their money. 54 units with $1000+ maintenance fees x 52 weeks $2,808,000. Lot of money went into somebody's pocket and not into the building. We have also been owners at the Grand Regency since the beginning. The early years were fine even though the building plans were still in process. But now it appears that all is lost. Also, Interval International no longer accepts this resort for trading purposes. As I see it, the only real hope would be for some resort chain (like Marriott or Hyatt) to buy the property and then proceed to fix it up and develop it. We have been owners at Grand Regency from the beginning. they Started out as a Spinnaker resort and told us all these big plans. They finished the two buildings and stopped. No pool no amenities promised were even ever started. Each time we have been there it has gotten more and more rundown and dirty. they were renting rooms out like motel rooms according to one man we talked to on our last visit. Sadly, although this resort is in a beautiful location, it has not been kept up. Legal action is going on so I hope things turn around. With proper management, this could become the best place in Branson. We stayed there this past spring.
We are owners and it has been a struggle for the past 10+ years. However, we love Branson so always return. Now I am trying to contact them to reserve and all phone numbers have been disconnected. Anyone had any luck? What do we do now? Call Missouri Attorney General?
Had a little trouble getting our room due to not being cleaned. I guess the housekeeping had strep throat. Anyway due to the inconvenience we were upgraded. Very nice and clean on top floor with beautiful view. Very quiet and felt secluded but still close to everything. One bummer no pool on site. Went different resort and swam, not far. Stayed a week and enjoyed finding fossils in the rock by parking lot. Will be back.
