I have never rowed before. I tried the open rowing today (7/11/2015). What a great experiance the staff was helpful and nice with their instructions on rowing. I'm hopping to make rowing a part of my summer. Thank you Grand Rapids Rowing association for hosting this free event!
After many years off of the water (since college and I'm 31) I decided it was time to revisit a sport that I enjoyed in the past. I took a learn to row class in spring of 2015 and loved it so much that I joined the club soon after. But it wasn't just the sport that I fell back in love with. I fell for the people of GRRA too.
