There are better places to live -- you WON'T get your deposit back! The managers seem nice at first. But beware! This is NOT a place you want to deal with. You will NOT get your deposit back, no matter how well you clean. They can even tell you that you did an excellent job, but when it comes time to get that check into your hands, you will not only *NOT* get it, but they will likely add all sorts of additional fees that you will owe once you move out. Apartment Living Our friend lives in Grand Oaks Apartments. The move-in process was great and they were very friendly and got her in when she wanted to move in there. They also have great prices. My only concern is that her apartment was supposed to be cleaned (obviously) when she moved in yet her carpet and walls still smell of smoke (by whoever lived there before). I would reccomend better cleaning but overall this place is nice.
