About this business

Grand Isle Restaurant puts a fine dining spin on fresh-from-the-water Louisiana seafood. Diners will find all of the fresh seafood favorites that would be available at a Grand Isle fishing camp with refined touches to enhance the experience. My girlfriend and I dined here on our last night in NOLA. We had PEI mussels as an appetizer, grilled sheepshead and a seafood stew as our main entrees. Dessert was pecan pie. Everything tasted great and was nice and fresh. The service was excellent. Would definitely eat there again when we come back.

Business response:

We know there are lots of dining options in New Orleans. We’re thrilled that you chose Grand Isle and, especially, that you loved it! Please come back and see us again when you return.

I had a hard time with this one. Most of the options were a little pricey and not a huge variety to choose from (I mean, $17 for a burger). I ended up getting the Cajun catfish in a tomato-y sauce with rice on the side. It was alright but lacked some flavoring. Several at our table got the shrimp po'boy and looked like that would've been a much better option

Everything. Great food ( the best shrimp and grits I've ever had ) and the drinks were awesome. A definite stop when we're in the city.

De entrada los ostiones de la casa deliciosos! Súper frescos y consistencia exquisita.. cuidado con el aderezo, está hecho de una raíz muy fuerte parecido al Wasabi
