Beautiful. Hard to miss a fairway here (New Course, Jack's tribute to St. Andrews), unless you get into a pot bunker. Somehow I managed not to. Didn't play like the real St. Andrews, as the course was spongy after weeks of Florida rains. Though I hit the ball well I scored terribly on the front nine because I kept trying to play low run-ups and putts from off the green like I see them do in the British Open, and the ball just didn't want to run. We ate at the Nine Eighteen restaurant and had a fabulous view of the golf course. The food was delicious and service impeccable. I had the crusted goat cheese arugula salad and my husband had the baby octopus salad, I had the filet mignon and he the pork chop, and for dessert, he had the chocolate meltdown and I, the fruit crisp with Espresso and a capuccino to finish off the meal. Great golf course, super staff and great post round meals in the club house. Played here during both family vacations at Universal Studios. Will always come back.
