Grand Central Market..different than before, but still great! Grand Central Market is to Latin and Asian foodies what Bristol Farms is to Anglos...only better and much, much cheaper. Where can you buy a basket of berries for only 50 cents? In WINTER? Well, here you can. There are a plethora of services and shops where you are all but guaranteed an incredible price. Need a watch battery replaced or a gold bracelet repaired? An on-site jeweler is there, ready to help, at incredible prices. There is also a masseuse and masseur ... read more

Farmers Market & Food Court on ADRENALINE In "City of Angels," when Nicolas Cage's angel got to be human and wanted to see/taste/touch/smell as much as he could, he came to the Grand Central Market. Apart from the occasional clipped wings, the marketeria mostly serves Latino shoppers, downtown lunchers, or local tourists like me. Browse the endless aisles of international foodstuff, get a Chinese massage, then grab a relatively inexpensive bite before hitting the garment/jewelry/toy districts.
