Now that some months have passed, I wanted to write a review.I am a very longtime patient of Dr.Sellers, I got the best possible treatment, me and my husband consider ourselves so fortunate to have him as our surgeon! He saw me during an urgent request and his care showed right away. He knew something was wrong without even being able to see it in the office. He got me comfortable while I waited for surgery and then showed care through the whole process. So glad I was referred to him.
Dr Sellers is one of the best colorectal surgeons in the US. I had Ulcerative Colitis and needed an ileostomy. My surgery was scheduled later in the year, but unforseen circumstances arose and I needed emergency surgery. He was able to sqeeze me in. I felt a million times better after surgery. Also, every one of my nurses have complimented on my stoma saying it's better than textbook and it's perfect. I love my stoma and look forward to finishing off my other surgeries with Dr Sellers. I had hemorrhoids, which started to cause way too much problems. As far as I made my doctor choice basing on online reviews, I would like to leave my opinion as well. First thing I would like to mention is that I felt very comfortable during appointments and surgery preparation. I didn't feel embarrassed of hesitated discussing my problem, the treatment or suggestions. Dr. Sellers instilled my confidence in him upon the first visit, he was very patient and thorough in what my procedure would entail and what he would do to correct my problem, he showed me on the poster of the colon where my problem was and explained how he would correct it, after my surgery he met with my family and answered each and everyone’s questions, he called and checked on me , when he was there at the hospital he explained the procedure again and what to look for during my healing process, he has been very inventive... read more
Probably one of the best doctors I have ever met. My husband needed a major and very difficult colon surgery which was performed by Dr. Sellers in May with a follow-up surgery in August. Knowing how difficult the surgery would be, I sought out the best colorectal surgeon I could find. Dr. Sellers was referred to me and we are so happy we selected him as my husband’s surgeon. Excellent experience with Dr. Sellers - both in his office, during my surgery and after. He is who you want with you in the operating room! Very compassionate and skilled doctor, helps to normalize the scary and vulnerable reasons you've gone to see him in the first place - and helps give you relief from pain. Grateful to him and would definitely recommend!

Dr Sellers came highly recommended to me, I had been having a problem for a long time and he reviewed my tests and did feel that i needed to have surgery. The help I got from his office was wonderful, he discovered that I needed to have an additional surgeon so that some other problems could be addressed all during one surgery. I deeply appreciate his allowing another surgeon to join the operation and his follow up was amazing. Thank you Dr Sellers !!!!!
