Gracie's Camping experience was a threatening experience, perhaps a little too much COVID Paranoia. Day One, with a NO REFUND POLICY, WE were threatened to be kicked out just because I went to the office to complain and was treated condesendingly because I wasnt the one paying the bill. We arrived, at the campgrounds greeted with cheshire cat smiles. But the cabins are positioned right by the RV DUMP STATION. The entire area inside and out smelled like an out house. The campground smells of sewage. Be prepared to build your own fire pit by stealing rocks from other camp sites if you're unfortunate enough to not have one. I did ask if there was a fire pit and was answered with a vague, well there might be but might not be. The owner is very condescending and threatened to kick us out when we made a complaint, knowing they do not offer refunds, only passes for another visit. Every year my friends and I make at least 1 “great big, everyone’s involved, we’ll always be friends” camp/float trip. We stayed at Gracies Campground in Noel. As you can imagine, after all these years we’ve learned to be clean, respectful, and all around happy campers when we make this very special time of summer happen.
