My goal in coming to Gracie Barra was to make a positive physical change in my life and move away from a sedentary lifestyle to a more active one. I went in knowing nothing of combat sports, Jiu Jitsu, or martial arts in general. My goal was simply to lose weight and improve my cardio. I lost 28 pounds, and I'm in much better shape now than when I started. I had visited Gracie Barra and began my membership. They have such excellent staff and it is a great environment to learn! As for the equipment, it is top of the line, and the instructors and staff are very friendly!
Stopped in to get some rounds in while here working. Awesome bunch of guys, and josh, the instructor, taught some good half guard stuff.
My son usually trains in St Louis where we live and he was welcomed into the gym to train while he visited my family in Mission! Love the GB family!
