Dr Kim treated my mother who previously had 30+ years treatment with her partner. Her sole focus during the visits (3) was to change her medications which were extremely expensive, very new and actually caused my mother's blood sugar to rise to extremely high levels instead of managing her diabetes as her previous medications always did. When concerns about the rise of her blood sugar was communicated with Dr Kim and the effects on my mother, she never once contacted us to see what needed to be done or if my mother was bette... read more
This doctor has no bedside manners. She uses words like "freaking". She is not interested in discussing the issues a patient has. She is only interested to prescribe medicine. She would not even listen to my issues. Once she heard an opportunity to prescribe medicine, she would not even hear about other problems I have. The office staff was 15 minutes late with the appointment. Stay away from this doctor.
Every visit she listens to my needs. Goes above and beyond always. Makes me feel like my plan is individualized. Not lumped in with all other diabetics. I trust her and value her recommendations for my diabetes care.
Dr Kim deserves 6 Stars. I have been seeing Dr Kim since she joined the CDE Medical Group. She has helped me treat my type 1 diabetes. I meet with her several time a year and we go over my Dexcom CGM numbers that works with my Tandem insulin pump. Then we discuss and tune the delivery of my basil and bolus settings. Her knowledge and experience has helped me manage the challenging diabetes that I live with every day. I am a 76 year old diabetic. I have been seeing Dr. Kim for over a year. I am very pleased with Dr. Kim’s program to correct my diabetes. She realized that medication was not enough to fix the problem. As a retired business man, I really admire Dr. Kim’s ability to get me to buy into a series of life changes to address this serious health issue. My A/C is now down to 6.2. It’s unfortunate many leaders don’t have Dr. Kim’s vision

My visits with Dr Kim are informative and not at all stressful
A very companionate human being. She listens very carefully to everything I tell her and is totally knowledgeable. She takes her time with me and explains everything in detail. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!
