German & his team @ GR Contractors did a great job on a couple repairs on the exterior of my rowhouse in DC - including repair of a flagstone entry stair, a parapet wall, and some window trim. Upon requesting an estimate for the work, German was able to come out the next day to survey. I got an itemized estimate via email 1-2 days later. They started and finished the entire scope of the project within 1 weeks’ time - with a couple phone calls / texts with me to coordinate as needed. I talked to German a few times on the phone and he showed up to job site a week later, walk through the details. I got the plans drawn by an architect a week later, but I never heard from him again, he just doesn’t answer text messages and phone calls.
We absolutely loved working with German and his team. We had them handle a few projects, but the biggest was a covered deck build. German wasn't the cheapest bid we received, but he impressed us with the knowledge/planning for the project and his guidance for the permitting process.
