I had recent colonoscopy and EGD with Dr Goyal. He explained me the procedure very well. He answered all my question. His surgical skills are excellent. I would recommend him highly.
Was first patient there in office. Was taken back at my appointment time but left in a room for 45 minutes. I came out to inquire & was told he was in w/another patient. The office staff is not empathetic . i was told he is a specialist not a primary Dr. Isn't that why I am there? I left and asked for a release and was told it was up to the descetion of the Dr.whether to release my records to another Dr. They are my records!
on 4/5/2019 I had a colonoscopy and Dr Goyal was great. He spoke with me before and after and he explained everything well. This the 2nd time in five years that he did my colonoscopy and I will be back in 5 years again. JoyceP.
First let me say, I appreciate and respect Dr Goyal and had no bad experience with him personally. My dissatisfaction is with his front office, coding and billing team. I have been trying to get reimbursed for an office visit (9/13/18) and each time I call, I am told they have to send a message to follow up. The staff has not been very helpful in assisting in my issue. I feel that 90+ days is more than enough time to resolve a reimbursement.
Was scheduled for colonoscopy at 8:30 Dr did not get there until almost 10:30 to do the test. The staff at the surgery center told me he is always late. Had a upper done and then 6 mos later had to have done again still not able to swallow. Seeing a new Dr that told me that I may have to have surgery to remove part of the esophagus. Office staff is rude they call you in the back and then place you in another tiny room then they will place you in your room to see Dr.
Dr. Goyal treated me for Hep C back when they were using Interferon. He did cure the Hep C but toward the end of the treatment I developed Hypothyroidism. Dr. Goyal would not see me. His nurse said Dr. Goyal felt I was trying to get out of work. I contacted him again after completing the treatment and was told to see my Primary. I was very sick by the time I got help. If you are looking for a Doctor who will follow through on problems from his treatment Dr. Goyal is not that guy.
I like the Dr. but his front office staff are HORRIBLE. Walked out today and will not be back. Extremely RUDE.
Seemed a bit too busy to be interested. Had to go to his office. Small, crammed & dirty. Left sick or uncomfortable people sitting there over an hour & 1/2 past their appt time. Finally he pulls up in his $100,000 Mercedes! Just disgusting! After waiting so long he has to ask me almost all the questions I just filled out on the 6 page form & type them into his computer. Isn't that what the desk crew is for? Left still sick with no answers. Disgusting!
