Okay so I last checked in here on February 29th and let me tell you this is the sole reason they added an extra day for leap years. You can either A) have some of the most tantalizing macaroons with some coffee brewed with beans that Jack himself must have sown when visiting that giant or B) sit down at the bar for the best service in Dover. We had a great Tuesday at Governors Cafe! The food was really good, portion just a little small. Atmosphere was great and bartender Joe was awesome!

Sat on the porch . Party of six. Great waitress abbey. Food good. Only one negative comment. One of us is gluten and dairy free so she rearrange a menu item. Then the owner came out to tell her "this is not burger king,!" Well not the best customer service statement, and from the owner ! So even tho the food was good, never will return

My apology for my attempt at a joke that didn't go over well at your table. I noticed that it was not well received which was why I came back to explain that we were really trying to do was hold down the cost of the entree instead of extra charging you. It was my error in trying to be funny and it back fired. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the comment, we all learn from positive and negative criticism.
My first time here, and this place is awesome! Very friendly, and a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. I'm def going to come back again!
