RecommendedI’ve noticed a lot of updates to the property lately and I have to say, I am impressed! Really is a beautiful place. Cleanliness is a solid 5 stars. The people in the neighborhood are all nice. Maintenance is attentive and quick with resolving any issues. Love Governor Square Apartments!
The company that runs this place does not seem to care about this location. They fired a good manager, since our entire maintenance staff has quit. They were a good team finally. But they dont take care of employees. My grass has not been cut in almost 2 weeks and the new manager seems like she could care less. “ oh i sent an email” heres and idea. Pick up the phone and make things right. ASAP Look at how tall it is next to my little dogs. Hate this place.
Had a maintenance emergency last night so I called around 11pm and they said they were sending someone out. Well it’s now 9am and there’s still no one here, my kitchen and carpets are now flooded because an emergency clearly is not an emergency.
Our AC has been out and they will not even pay us back for the box fans we bought. They said they would replace the part Monday and not even a phone call!
I will never ever recommend anyone to rent an apartment here. Our A?C is not working for last one month! I am running after them since then and one guy came after one week, changed the thermostat and told me that he will come back next morning. I am calling them every day and they are telling me that they need 3rd party company to fix it. Everyday they say oh, today is raining so they will not come, next day is shiny so they are busy! Would not recommend to anyone! Maintenance is a JOKE. Our kitchen light has been broken for a year and it flickers like the freaking twilight zone. Maintenance has replaced the bulbs 4 times instead of checking the light fixture itself! Also our AC has been broken since LAST summer. Currently 85+ degrees in our apartment.
I wouldn't send my worst enemy here! The maintenance guy is a sexist pig and the front office is a joke! But the very worst part is we moved when our lease was up and they changed my residence information so I cannot take my credit card off of the resident portal and they are charging me with bs charges randomly!! Do not even consider this place unless you feel like adding a bunch of stress to your life. Seriously the worst place I have ever lived.
I wouldn't live here again even if you paid me. The front office and the maintenance staff has a revolving door. You never know who you are going to find in the front office. Most of the front office staff I have come in contact with has been extremely rude to existing and potential residents. It takes too long for them to handle even the smallest of maintenance concerns. The only way I got the big ones taken care of was to threaten to break my lease.
