I am beyond dissatisfied with GEHA and need someone to review this claim again. I have been waiting since April 30th 2026 for a resolution on this claim. It was yesterday July 29th, four months later, that GEHA has completed it. I paid out of pocket for a medically necessary jaw surgery (which I received a medical determination from GEHA before moving forward with the surgey). I paid a total of $18,028.44 cash out of pocket. My entire savings as a 20 something year old. My claim got modified by GEHA and only got filed for $1... read more
The worst insurance company ever. They have declined procedures which my Cardiologist recommended. They have copayments for Hearing Test, Routine blood work, which I never incurred with Blue Cross. GEHA denied my surgeons MRI referral. He wont operate on painful herniated discs without an MRI. GEHA did not call, text, email me, or leave a voicmail. Unacceptable. Do not support this company. CEO, Arthur Nizza, made $2.6M last year. Unethical.

But the last few months of horror were all GEHA. I got my bill approved for payment 2/25. I called 3/12 and learned that although they could see it had been approved they hadn't acted on it but would now get right to it. I called 3/25 and was told that the previous rep had closed the the case without any payment. I left a 0 star review. I called 4/2 and was told... read more
