If you prefer shopping at cookie-cutter stripmall stores, Gourmet Junction is not for you. There's always something new and unique available - from table scarves to purses, teapots to jewelry. The shop is old fashioned in the appealing, vintage way with tin ceiling and wood floors in a historic building.
Paulette I have never been disappointed with Gourmet Junction. The food is always fresh and tasty and the service is beyond reproach. This shop has been part of our community for a very long time. It is a wonderful place to sit, sip and shop. You will never get tired or bored when you visit this store. It is chock full of items for young and not so young! HORRIBLE!!! These people need to spend a little money on an exterminator. I don't want to go into detail because it would make you sick. Just stay away.
Never Again! I purchased a basket of assorted items from this shop to gift to a friend, and to my horror, there was a dead beatle inside the packaging that could not be seen until the basket was opened. I am still extremly embarrassed although my friend ensured me that these things happen. We agreed that the best course of action would be for me to return the basket to store. RUDE! I went in to Gourmet Junction one afternoon on my lunch break for a "gourmet coffee." The employee couldn't get the cappuccino machine to function properly, so she called the owner, who was in the back room, for help. In front of me, the customer, the owner berated the employee for being incompetent. The owner then tried to get the machine to work herself, but could not. Warm Fuzzies! I always get warm fuzzies when coming into the Gourmet Junction. Her chicken salad sandwhiches are out of this world! The chicken soup is PERFECT, not overly salted like other places. The Ladies are so nice and accomidating to your needs and strive to make your visit memorable.
