Good experience for a tough problem – I am not a doctor kind of person. I usually don't go to doctors and try to stay away from hospitals. So when my primary care doctor recommended a neurologist, I was worried. I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Gould. He and his staff did their best to try to make me feel comfortable. Good doc, good communicator – I spent only 10 minutes waiting for my appointment. To my surprise, Dr. Gould came out in the waiting room to bring me back. Now when was the last time that happened to you? We sat down in a well decorated office. Didn't feel like a doctor's office. Dr. Gould spent a great deal of time listening and when I was done talking, asked a lot of questions I didn't think of. Not Recomended – I went to Dr. Gould a year or so ago and found the experience a genaric one. He managed to cover my history and test me for spinal problems. I have 3 deteriorting discs and had numbness in feet and hands. His words: "You will just have to live with it"! Upon searching out a nero urologist I am hapy to report with home therepy I NO longer "just have to live with it"! There are Doctors out there that still do practice HELPING patients and while he may take the time I am sure it is not aimed at doctoring at all... read more

I have seen many neurologists in the past but now I know I am staying with Dr. Gould. – Although I have found the receptionist moody, I have found Dr. Gould to be a caring and personable doctor. . He makes me feel comfortable, both by his informal manner and by his competence He never rushed appointments. I have felt that I always had time to explain myself. I have a chronic condition and have seen numerous neurologists. I am happy to stay with Dr. Gould.

horrible office staff, totally unorganized. NOT recommended – Not only have I been there over 5 times, every time I go they have to get my information again. I have signed a release form for all of my doctors in the past SEVERAL times. Every time I show up for my appt my records are not up to date, he looses the MRI's and his office manager has the absolute worst phone ettiqute and seems very annoyed to give any information regarding anything including the fax number. nice but not – dr. gould correctly diagnosed my problem, ran some tests, and then basically said there wasn't anything to be done about the numbness. He's a very likeable guy but could not assertain the cause or treatment of my condition. I'll have to try a few others before giving up, I guess.

No thanks – I felt like I was in a psych evaluation rather than in a consultation. He told me all I was interested in is find the cause of my back pain....Uh yeah!! Doesn't finding the cause help you treat your pain! I was outraged how I was handled and poorly treated. The appt could have been handled totally differently.
