He is very nice and friendly. My son likes him and he names him a funny doctor
I will come back to see Dr Gottschalk if we ever need a pediatric orthopedic surgeon again. His bedside manner is the best I have seen in a while. He spoke to my 12 son and not me. He answered any questions and made my family so comfortable.
Dr. Gottschalk is a wonderful and personable doctor. He takes his time to discuss and analyze the injuries and provides clear directions on care.
My child and I were both very comfortable with Dr. Gottschalk! He took the time to explain to myself and my child, his treatment through every step; and looked for our affirmation in understanding the process. My child left the office feeling great about having his issue treated, and remarked on how Dr. Gottschalk was funny and made him feel comfortable. We were both thankful for the time he gave to the situation, and his attention to our questions and concerns!
Dr. Gottschalk has a gentle and caring bedside manner and he is always willing to spend time with you to ease your fears. Our 2 year old had an operation on her thumb and he was very kind and thoughtful about our entire experience as the parents and the child. I felt like I could trust him.
Dr. Gottschalk is amazing! He is very personable and knowledgeable. He explains things so that you and your child can easily understand them and really talks to your child as an individual. My daughter loved him (and his jokes) and I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise. I am a registered nurse so I have worked with lots of doctors and Dr. Gottschalk is one of the best I have ever seen. I would highly recommend him for anyone in need of a pediatric orthopedic surgeon.
Dr Gottschalk and his staff are all amazing! He has made my daughter feel very comfortable in his office. He is not only very accessible and great at explaining things to me as the parent, but also great with my daughter, the patient. Cannot say enough good things! I really appreciate the great care!
Dr Gottschalk was wonderful. A lot of drs just talk with parents and forgot that their patient is a kid. Dr Gottschalk was not like that. He explains things well and included my son in all aspects of the conversation. Plus he and his staff are funny, kind and professional.
Not only did I feel like I had all the time I wanted to get my questions answered, Dr. Gottschalk was wonderful with my 8 year old daughter- speaking to her directly and making her laugh during a not-so-fun time. I had great peace of mind and will definitely choose him for all future visits!
