Chicken fried meatloaf. 'Nuf said. Excellent beer selection. Staff is excellent, bartender was great.
Great micro brew selection; unique menu offerings, priced right, friendly staff. Loved the ambience.
The food was great!! My only complaint is with wait staff. I feel they need to be more welcoming to new customers. And have a hostess all hours of the day. A busser too. I don't like liking an abandoned table with spent dishes and silverware and glasses with napkins in it. It shows bad etiquette for the establishment itself. But I will return again.
Some of the best fried pickes & fried chicken ive ever had! The drinks were awesome as well. It's hard to find a place that makes a good tequila drink.
Would have loved to have tried anything on the menu, could only get a sweet tea after 10 minutes of waiting from the bartender as we were sitting at table furthest from the bar...waitress had no interest in taking our order say all....I gave it 20 mins....never again this happened today 19 March

Best Mac and cheese I have ever had! If you eat here you must try it with fried chicken on it. Fiancé had crab cake and loved it. Also one of the very few places that actually had Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. If I lived nearby I would come back many more times!
A recent visit to Portsmouth we were taken to Gosport Tavern for brunch. The food was so delicious. Service was the best. Imagine a bloody Mary made the old fashioned way. Will go again on our next visit. Would like to try dinner
