Very Helpful Auto Mechanics! I recently took my car to Gorsche and I thought they did a wonderful job. They were timely, accurate with the estimate, and did a great job. They even noticed a nail in my tire and took care of it. The cost was average and the service was friendly.
Excellent Service and Price I started patronizing Gorche Auto Service in 1991. My 1987 Volvo had a clunking noise near the rear axel. I took it to one mechanic who went on a short ride with me and after one maybe two blocks announced that I needed to replace the rear-end (price estimate over $2000). I got a second opinion at Gorshe and they fixed it by welding it for less than $200. I've been a loyal Gorshe customer ever since!
Not happy My girlfriend was referred to Gorshe by a friend.... The "oil change & lube" cost $71.80 4 1/2 quarts of oil: 10.80 Oil Filter: 8.00 Change oil & Filter: 10.00 Lube/check fluids: 43.00 *That* won't happen again.
Simply the Best! I've been taking my cars to Gorshe Auto since 1996. I have never been even slightly disappointed with their service, the cost, or any other aspect of their operation. I'm surprised at how they sometimes even come in UNDER their estimate (and they are less expensive than any other place I have ever used). They are far and away the most honest and reliable mechanics in the Twin Cities. Gorshe Auto Svc is great We've had both of our Hondas there without a problem. Never bad surprises, always on time, never had to go back for a second time. Very honest. Services over three years have included timing belt, clutch, tune-ups, tires, brakes, electric window, converter, exhaust, oil changes.
Gorshe Auto Svc is not as good as it used to be I've been to Gorshe about 7 times over the last 8 years or so. They were great up until my last visit. I didn't have time to do the break pad replacements myself so I took it in. All it needed were pads for front and back. (priced same day retail about $30-50 a set from O'Reilly which is where Gorshe buys from - I checked the slips in the shop after they did the work). Gorshe charged me $100 for 1 set and tried to convince me the rotors and calipers were bad on both front and b... read more
Honest Shop I have been going to Gorshe's since 2003 and have had the best service that money could buy. The thing that I value most is their honesty. The technicians take the time to show you the old parts that were removed from your vehicle and explain everything to you everything in detail. I see the previous comment and am certain that there was something added or done for those $43 dollars. I highly recommend this shop. You can't go wrong with these guys!
