Great schezuan! Gordy's holds a special place in my heart! No one can beat their ants on trees...but they are also where I had my first date with my husband. Gordy's on the South Hill is tucked away but all the locals know where to get great schezuan food. Service is great, the restaurant is pretty crowded but the food is well worth the wait!
Best kept secret on South Hill Stuck in a cranny on the South Hill, Gordy's Sitchuan Cafe is one of the best Sitchuan places I have ever been too. The inside of the restaurant is rather small so make reservations, but you can also call and order out and pick up your food. Not really sure what Sitchuan is? Don't worry everything on the menu is great, the kung poa chicken is my favorite!
RecommendedWe had the best dinner take out from Gordys last night! The food was prepared perfectly, portion sizes were great and the flavor was spot on! Our reigning favorite is always basil chicken and it didn’t disappoint! Yu Xiang chicken, I’m sure I butchered the spelling and Savory tofu, veggie fried rice with chicken! And best of all we have leftovers for lunch! Thank you for relieving me from cooking duty!
