Good food at reasonable prices. We travel from NE Kansas to Pelican Lake near Orr, MN 1 - 2 times each year. The trip isn't complete without a stop at Gordy's for a burger fries/onion rings and a shake. My wife always the orange Creamsicle shake while I have whatever fruit flavor strikes my fancy. Nothing fancy here just standard American road food done well.

We were lucky enough to have Gordy (90 yrs old) take our order last night. The line was out the door, but it only took 3 minutes to get to the counter and order. The food was out within 10 minutes and it was perfect. It's always a good experience with the family every time we go here.
Gordy's is a must stop of you live within three hours like I do. I come from the Twin Cities suburb of Maple Grove to go with my family. One of my absolute favorite stops! I have to have a burger, fish, fries, cheese curds, onion rings, chicken wild rice soup and a shake. I would highly recommend it. Their customer service is fantastic and everyone is so nice. Top notch. There is a reason Guy Fieri stopped here on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.
