Gordon and sons did a beautiful job refinishing my antique chest! They brought it back to it's original condition (or maybe even better) and did the job in less than a week.
Integrity is Gordon Furniture Refinishing’s name of the game. We commissioned the resurfacing of an expensive antique table and Gordon and his sons did the job. The table had been scratched by movers and there was no way to conceal the damage as it sat in the dining room. It was a challenge for Gordon to bring the table back to its original, detailed design look but he did. The Gordon's did a remarkable refinishing on my dining table. It has thick varnish from a bad past refinish which left lots of marks. They picked up the table and returned it within a week - I had people coming for dinner and needed it back and they were quick and did a beautiful job! I love my table again. :). I would recommend the Gordon's to anyone.
When the cushion springs failed on my Manhattan chair, I was worried that repairs might be cost prohibitive, but Gordon fixed it proficiently and at a fair price. He provided an accurate estimate from photos of the chair and explained the repair process in detail. His sons kindly returned the chair when I had unexpected car trouble. I can understand why this family business has lasted for three generations, and I hope that it continues for many more.
