3/3/2025 edit: these trashbags just admitted in court that they made no attempt to clean our carpet before they tore it up and charged us for replacement. by far the worst company I have rented from. they seemed fine-ish (they had us staying and paying for a half functioning house during an apartment wide plumbing fix), but now they are charging us $1200 for general carpet damage. I requested receipts, proof, anything, and instead of communicating with me at all, they took me to small claims. I called and received a lot of "I don't know" and "I didn't file" from Arlington, only to call Gordon Management who said they would send receipts. They have not. I use to lived at Oakhill Townhomes in Muskegon, MI. And Gordon Management took over management and I thought it would have been better than the last owners. But boy was I wrong, Gordon Management raised the rent by 200 dollars. Also they paid to get the heating transferred over to the tenants responsibility. While no upgrades to the apartments were done. They did add an A/C but that was installed after I moved out. Those apartments are ran down and there's no street lights that work on the property very unsafe at night. The... read more
I advise anyone ( DO NOT MOVE HERE)These people are illegally charging or asking for three times the rent here in Michigan when the Michigan law clearly states as of July 1, 2024 it is illegal for them to ask for three times the rent also they accept section 8, but gonna tell a section 8 person who has a voucher that their income must be three times the rent how is that possible?
