I was in excruciating pain needing two root canals. My dentist called Dr. Barkley’s office at 8 AM and they fit me in by 9:15 AM. Carissa and Connie were very caring and quick to get me through the paperwork and prepped for the root canals. Dr. Barkley kept me informed the whole time what he was doing. Two hours later I was a new person. I recommend this office greatly. Thank you!!!
I had my first root canal today. Dr. Barkley and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They explained everything they were going to do before it happened. Carissa continuously made sure I was ok. I definitely recommend the practice.
I was dreading having to get my first root canal but Dr. Barkley and his entire office made the experience SO much better than I expected! Loved the ambiance and decor in their office and the extra touches like a neck warmer and aromatherapy spritz of choice during the procedure. The staff was extremely personable and Dr. Barkley even called to follow up the next day. Would definitely recommend him to everybody in the Peoria area!
I had a great experience at Barkley Endodontic yesterday. Root Canal could not have been any easier. Doctor Barkley walked me right through the procedure with the help of his assistant Jessica. Thank you both for making this so easy.
Great bedside manner. Explained everything throughout procedure. Staff is awesome too. Provided warm shoulder padding and essential oils on bib (scent of my choosing) to promote calm and comfort prior and during root canal. Procedure was painless.
Cozy, nicely-decorated office, calming folk music playing throughout, friendly and efficient staff and personable and knowledgeable Endodontist! A root canal procedure includes a neck pillow (cool or warm) and an essential oil (orange, rose, lavender or jasmine) on your bib to breathe in throughout the process. Worked me into their schedule because I was in pain. Staff is very professional and kind. So is Dr. Barkley. He explains each step as he proceeds and eliminates any fear. I have had other root canals and this was by far the easiest. Thank you for alleviating my pain and my fear!
This place was unbelievable and have turned any fears I have ever had to good! I had so many fears of this root canal, it bothered me from the time I made the appointment till the time I got the procedure. MY PREVIOUS dentist made my root canal a horror flick, I was swallowing pieces of tooth, constantly swallowing what tasted like bleach, so I thought that’s what it was going to be like!
