Been going to Oak Bay Rec and decided to try a different rec centre as the hot tub/sauna have been broken for months at Oak Bay... but wow! Am I ever glad that we tried a new rec centre! It was fabulous from the staff, to the facility, to the sauna, and the incredibly fast spinning lazy river. Thank you!
Great neighborhood recreation center, with a well sized pool, hot tub, sauna. I haven't tried the gym. Feels very family-oriented. Better for younger kids, since it does not have slides. Clean and well accessible by bike.
Don’t waste your time or money at the gym here. When the gym did exist, it was outdated, overcrowded, and filthy. You’d be lucky to use a machine without waiting at least 30 minutes. Now, it’s been closed for months under the excuse of “roof repairs.” They promised a September reopening, but surprise — they’ve now pushed it back to January.
