What made this project different was that it involved a full remodel plus new insulation. We added an extension, and the insulation crew worked alongside our general contractor to line the new framing with spray foam and batt insulation. They measured carefully to keep the R-value consistent through the old and new parts of the home. The transition looks seamless, and energy bills have already started showing a positive change.
Insulation was always something we put off, but after this upgrade, I wish we had done it sooner. The installers worked quickly, replaced what was worn out, and sealed the attic door. It made a big difference in comfort. What impressed me most was how clean they left the space!!
We have a wide attic that needs full insulation replacement. Alex and Dan removed the old fiberglass and sprayed foam across the rafters. The valleys near the dormers were tricky, but they reached them without leaving gaps. The project was big, and they kept the work organized. Now the upstairs is comfortable without having to run the AC constantly.
Our back unit had no insulation in the ceiling or walls. Goodman Insulation added batt insulation between the roof joists and filled in the wall cavities. They also foamed the gaps around the window frames. The unit now stays cool even without central air. These guys know how to insulate a space properly.!!!
