Three weeks (8/17/15) since Dr. Mobasser performed my T12 surgery. I have been completely off narcotic pain meds for a week or so. Just taking ibuprofen as needed. Still experiencing some numbness (which I'm sure will go away over time), but the horrible pain is gone! The entire surgical staff was awesome. I have a f/u visit on 9/22 -- am anxious for some of the restrictions to be lifted.
I consider the date of my back surgery by Dr Eric Potts, in January, 2015, to be a second birthday since I can now live again. As I enjoyed doing some gardening this afternoon, I realized that it's been years since I've been able to do simple things like harvesting or pulling weeds. At the age of 57, I'm able to enjoy all that life has to offer again thanks to Dr Potts. I would like to point out that he didn't push me toward surgery.
