Dr. Goodlett has always been the number one MD in Shelbyville. He is the only MD that myself or family will see in Shelby County. Thank you Dr. Goodlett for always listening to me.
When I moved to S'ville in 2003, Dr. Goodlett was highly recommended - for good reason! My daughter still drives from Columbus OH to see him on occasion b/c of his gentle manner and willingness to listen to the "whole" story. High cholesterol is a familial trait and Statin drugs don't work for us - although I know it bugs him, he does not press the issue of "making me" take them or give me a guilt trip - he has taken the time to listen to my concerns of how, why, and so on of my reasons for avoiding more pills in my life. Dr. Goodlett is an excellent doctor! He always listens to all my concern. He asks questions when he sees fit. He never makes me or my family feel like he is rushing through our appointment. He is not just about prescribing medication. If you can be healed, he wants that for you as much as you do. I trust him with my teenage daughter's health as well as mine. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Goodlett for years, he’s by far the most understanding, knowledgeable, compassionate doctor I’ve seen in my 53 years of life. I trust In all Medical decisions He makes. He always goes above and beyond to find answers to any question or concern I have. He’s awesome!
Thorough annual wellness visit.
On every visit, Dr. Goodlett listened as I described my symptoms, before responding with excellent advise. On a prior visit, he explained that I could undergo further testing, but that based upon his years of experience, recommended that I instead start taking a medicine on a daily basis. I have subsequently experienced no further symptoms! He has great communication skills.
