I've seen dozens of ODs in many states, countries and continents. Most very good ODs indeed. Dr G, though, takes optometry to a whole new universe. My only regret is not knowing him before. Where's the sixth start when you need it?

I've been 'seeing' (haha) Dr. G since 2001 and I can't imagine having another optometrist. Dr. G is incredibly meticulous, knowledgeable, and funny. I've stayed with him through house and job moves that have taken me farther from SF because I have tremendous trust in his skill and integrity. He's almost pathologically thorough! Also, once I started letting him choose/suggest my frames, I started getting compliments on them from strangers in the street. I have been seeing Dr. Gooderman since I was 11. I don’t really remember seeing him then, but I went into his office as a 21 year old concerned about seeing a little weird. He is awesome and funny. He taught me a lot about my eyes and it was all just really interesting. I’m a lot... and he was very patient with with me when I was choosing the frame for my glasses and really took his time.
